This study has been carried out in Department of Orthopaedic surgery of Medical Faculty of The Uludağ University. during 1982- 1984. The functional -reduction was applied to 32 hips in 25 cases with congenital hip dislocations. The ages were between 6 months and 3 years. The patients were follawed for the average of the 14 months. The derotation osteotomy was perlormed to 8 of the 32 hips. The femoral epiphysitis developed in three cases. In this article. we tried to discuss our results with the literature.
