Abstract
67 patients with patella fractures were treated operatively at Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Haydarpaşa Numune State Hospital, Istanbul, between 1989 and 1993. 27 patients whose Iast controls could be done are included in this study. The average age of the patients were 39 (between 18-75) years. Of them 15 were male and 12 were female. Our mean follow-up time was 14 months (between 4-36 months). 2 of our patients were treated by Magnuson technique, 8 patients with standard AO tension band wiring anterior to the patella and other 17 patients were treated by modified tension band wiring techniques. The results were evaluated clinically and radiologically. According to Levack et all s criteria, the results were good in 15, fair in 8 and poor in 4 patients. The outcomes of the patients who were rehabilitated were better.
Özet
1989-1993 yılları arasında İstanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji servisinde patella kırığı olan 67 hasta cerrahi yöntemlerle tedavi edildi. Son kontrolleri yapılabilen 27 hasta bu çalışmada değerlendirildi. 15 i erkek, 12 si kadın olan hastalarımızın ortalama yaşları 39 (18-75) idi. Ortalama takip süremiz 14 (4-36) aydı. Olgularımızın 2 sine Magnuson, 8 ine standart AO yöntemi ile tansiyon bandı, 17 sine modifiye tansiyon band yöntemleriyle osteosentez uygulandı. Sonuçlar klinik ve radyolojik olarak değerlendirildi. Levack ve ark. değerlendirme kriterlerine göre 15 olgu iyi, 8 olgu orta ve 4 olgu kötü olarak değerlendirildi. Ameliyat sonrası rehabilitasyon programına alınan hastaların sonuçlarının daha iyi olduğu gözlendi.
