Abstract
8 cases with traumatic amputation of the thumb were admitted to our hospital between the years of 1993-1994. They were treated by using fasciocutaneous radial forearm flap. There were 3 male and 5 female patients with the mean age of 33 years. Average follow-up was 20 months. Bilateral hand function were evaluated according to the parameters of Moberg pick-up, recognition of objects and subjective questionnaire in these patients. At the conclusion, it was found that osteoplastic reconstruction of the thumb with the fasciocutaneous radial forearm flap resulted with satisfactory function.
Özet
1993-1994 yılları arasında, Akdeniz Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabılim Dalı nda el başparmağı amputasyonu nedeniyle 8 olguda reverse pediküllü fasiyakutanöz radial arter önkol flebi ile başparmak rekonstrüksiyonu yapılmıştır. Olguların 3 ü erkek. 5 i kadın olup ortalama yaş 33 tür. Yapılan cerrahi girişim sonrası ortalama izlem süresi 20 aydır. Son kontrollerinde bilateral el fonksiyonları analizi yapılan olgularda Moberg pick-up, obje tanıma ve subjektif sorulara verilen yanıtlar ile sonuçlar incelenmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirmesi ile fasiyakutanöz radial arter önkol flebi ile başparmağın osteoplastik rekonstrüksiyonunun tatmin edici düzeyde başarılı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
