Isolated posterior dislocation of radial head in adult Case report

Abstract

Isolated radial head posterior dislocation in an adult is extremely rare. 6 cases have been reported in the Iiterature. We present a case report of a 34 year old woman with an isolated posterior dislocation of radial head. One month ago, fafling on her hand with her elbow extended , she had pain and swefling on her elbow. After examination, she was diagnosed as soft tissue trauma. One month Iater, still having pain and Iimited range of motion, she was re-examined and a posterior dislocation of radial head was found. Closed reduction under general anesthesia was not successful and radial head was resected. One year after operation, she had no complaints.

Özet

Yetişkinde izole radius başı posterior çıkığı oldukça nadirdir. Literatürde şimdiye kadar 6 olgu bildirilmiştir. Biz de, bu makalede, izole radius başı posterior çıkığı olan (34 yaşında kadın hasta) bir olguyu sunmaktayız
